Unllais Spring Conference
Time to fire up your Blackberrys, iPhones, Outlooks and online Calendars and mark 20th May 2010 as the day you attend the premier event of the year – the Unllais Spring Conference in Llandudno! Jam packed full of stimulating workshops and entertaining presentations- including Boyd Clack star of Satellite City and High Hopes - this event will bring people together from across North Wales to look at the diverse challenges that face mental health services in the region.
Kicking off the conference in his own inimitable style, top Welsh comedian, writer and actor Boyd Clack will talk about his own experiences of mental health and his involvement with the charity New Horizons. Delegates will then have a chance to attend a workshop on a range of topics including Challenges to Rural Services and the Mental Health Act amongst a host of others. After a tasty lunch, the workshops are repeated, so no one will miss out! Unllais will also be using the day as an opportunity to find out what you would like us to do in the future, and there will be a chance to offer suggestions throughout the day.
